Stephan Harman is the co-founder of FUSIAN, Inc., a fresh-casual sushi concept based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Oakwood High School in 2004 and began in business at the University of Dayton by designing, manufacturing, and distributing custom cornhole lawn games in 2006. In 2008, he moved to Aspen, Colorado with his childhood friend (and future business partner) where he lived for two years before writing the business plan for Soho Sushi, a customer-centric sushi experience & the inception of FUSIAN. In 2010 he moved to Cincinnati, partnered with his two friends from Dayton, brothers Josh & Zach Weprin, and together they opened the nation’s first fresh-casual sushi restaurant.

Chase manages the GNGF content team. He specializes in blogging, press releases, and social media content, created with the aim of improving each client’s overall web presence. When I was little, I told my Mom that black was my favorite color, and that I wanted to be a garbage man when I grew up. There was concern. While the garbage man thing didn’t quite work out, today I happily spend my time making the world – specifically the internet – a more beautiful place. As Creative Director at Sparkbox, I help create responsive websites and applications. I also love to craft identities and product packaging, just for kicks. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to work with clients like Lenovo, Yahoo, GM and Wired Magazine to name a few, and write for publications like NET Magazine and Web Design Tuts Plus.
When I’m not designing websites, black t-shirts or black logos for our workshops, I’m probably hanging with my wife and two boys, playing Mario Kart, taking pics of found typography, playing basketball or working on a fun side project like Branding Bad.
