Doug Koegeboehn (Keg-a-bean) is the Chief Marketing Officer for Wienerschnitzel, the World’s Largest Hot Dog Chain. Doug absolutely loves the enjoyment of eating food and knows pretty much everybody else does too. That’s why he has relished spending much his entire career working on food related business. It started out when he was 15 and landed a job at the new Burger King. Then when Doug graduated college he joined an advertising agency working on the El Pollo Loco account. For the next 20 years Doug ran the operations of the agency and was the lead on great food accounts including Dole, California Avocado Commission, Yogurtland and his favorite, Wienerschnitzel. During that time, Doug won more advertising awards than any other account person in the history of the Orange County Ad Club, including Best of Show more than once. In 2015, an opportunity arose and he joined the Wienerschnitzel family as CMO and is loving it. On the personal side, Doug feels extremely lucky to be married to his beautiful wife for the past 25+ years and has two great kids. His marriage and his children are his greatest accomplishments in life.

Ryan Berman is the founder of Courageous; a creative change consultancy that has worked with some of the largest companies in the country including Google, Snapchat, Charity: Water, Major League Baseball, Caesars Entertainment, PUMA, Subway and US Ski & Snowboard. His methods to installing courage in stories and organizations have been covered in Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Inc and Forbes. Ryan believes that in these courage deficient times, courage is a competitive advantage waiting to be unlocked. His best-selling book ‘Return on Courage: a playbook for courageous change’ addresses this head on. Berman also has his own “Courage Brand” called Sock Problems: a altruistic sock company that socks different problems in the world.

Brand Marketing Director, Wendy’s

Lindsey Lorenz is the Director of Brand Marketing at Wendy’s.  Serving up fresh beef and Frostys since 1969, Wendy’s is a household name and one of the largest quick service restaurants in America.  Lindsey leads Wendy’s pricing, value menu, and promotional marketing programs, including fan-favorites like the 4 for $4 meal and the 50 Cent Frosty promotions.  She also plays a key role in bringing Wendy’s brand voice to life through marketing campaigns and advertising.

Lindsey fell in love with the food industry as a young girl watching her parents run a family-owned fast food restaurant.  She started working there at the age of 15 and was a server and bartender throughout college.  After graduating from Ohio State, she worked in Merchandising at Abercrombie & Fitch before returning to OSU to earn her MBA from the Fisher College of Business.

Lindsey’s go-to menu item at Wendy’s is the Southwest Avocado Chicken Salad, although she’s also known to dip fries in a Frosty from time to time.

Kate Evans is the founder and owner of Your Social Status, a Dayton-based digital marketing boutique. Her expertise is in social media, internet marketing, and website development, but the company covers all aspects of digital marketing, including digital branding, reputation management, digital customer service, and more. Kate has built this business from the ground up, using her passion for social media, marketing, teaching, and working with small businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, and non-profits.

Growing up in Miamisburg, Kate attended Alter High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University. Her degree was a BS in Organizational Leadership, but her minor in Marketing sparked an interest in the social media field when working for Towne Properties after graduating. She noticed a lack of marketing in the social media aspect for the company and began to spearhead this for all of their apartment communities.

In the following years, Kate ran Your Social Status as a consultant while also contracting with 3M and Aveda. After moving several times across the country for contracting jobs (including stints in Texas and Florida), Kate decided to make Your Social Status an LLC in her hometown. The client base has grown since the start of Your Social Status in 2011 and she has added several employees and contractors to her lineup in the past nine years.

Your Social Status continues to grow, while Kate continues to host training courses for business owners locally and online, writing for magazines like Website Magazine and Inc., and speaking at local and national conferences.

Kate enjoys her membership with the Better Business Bureau and WiBN and wants to be an example for young women who want to be in business. She keeps this in mind when she hires, mentors, and works with other professionals. She credits her Dad for mentoring her, and hold close her relationships with her and her husband’s families.

Previously, Joe has worked for Sinclair Broadcasting Group, the Berry Company, and was a contract employee for Google, where he was sent to Tokyo to help build out a team for Google Adwords integration in the Asian countries. Upon his return to the USA, Joe was incorporated in to the ZMOT team for Google and traveled around to large businesses to work directly with senior leadership on understanding the fundamentals of how the ZMOT works and how they could train their sales people to speak to their clients about the challenges of the multi-screen world of marketing.

NickAD Historically Accurate Autobiography

From EGA to 8K, 8-bit to terabyte, there’s no resolution too low or pixel pitch too high. Raised on DOS prompts and ANCII-art, ‘Nick, Andrew David’ acquired a “deep and meaningful appreciation for the pixel” at age 4.

Years of rigorous video game research and a self-education of early flash development led young NickAD to pursue higher education in the emerging field of Theoretical Pixology at the University of Dayton. However, during his doctoral studies he found himself falling in love with the more traditional art of graphic design. Conflict began to grow, and a great war of mediums waged within him.

Nearing graduation, NickAD was introduced to the world of motion design and digital video. This had a profound effect, fusing his love for graphic design and storytelling with animation and motion graphics. And thus, in 2002, the quadforce of Andy’s professional career was born.

Dr. Andrew Nick, PH.D. found like-minded creatives at multi-disciplinary design firm Real Art, where he has enjoyed gainful employment and professional sharpening since 2004. He currently acts as a designer, director and video team lead, pursuing the fusion of traditional design and new media for the betterment of the human race.
