Head of Creative Integration, Powerhouse Factories
Often referred to as a cross between Magnum P.I. and Wilford Brimley, Neal Mabee is the consummate innovation catalyst. In his 15 years of experience, Neal Mabee has developed a unique understanding of the intersection of product, brand, marketing and media. Initially trained as an industrial designer Neal quickly found himself immersed in the world of global brand development by way of Coca-Cola’s Global Shopper Marketing team and McDonalds Global Restaurant Design team. These foundational experiences established an understanding of the relationships diverse consumers develop with brands through both tangible and intangible interactions.
With that foundation, Neal helped to build Powerhouse Factories, a boutique brand strategy agency specializing in lifestyle-centered consumer targeting and innovation fast-tracking methods. In 2012 Powerhouse was acquired by Empower Media marketing, which presented the opportunity to develop a sophisticated understanding of the influence media can have on brand effectiveness and the consumer experience. This non-linear path has equipped Neal with a unique perspective necessary to understand and explore challenges that live at the intersections of the traditionally disconnected capabilities.
